Avery Sharp Bass - Avery has worked with McCoyTyner, Archie Shepp, Art Blakely, Wynton Marsalis, and Pat Metheny. " He was recently selected for the Young Lions concert held at Carnegie Hall during the Kool Jazz Festival. Carlos Bermudo Guitar - originally from Seville, Spain. Carlos is a guitarist whose interests range from improvised music to classical and flamenco. He received undergraduate and Masters degrees in Music from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and has also studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston and Seville’s Conservatory of Music. While attending the University of Massachusetts, Carlos studied compositkon with Frederick Tillis, Jeff Holmes, Max Roach, Ted Dunbar, David Spomy and Yusef Lateef. During this time, Carlos studied classical guitar with Phillip de Fremery. During this time, Carlos perfommed with Archie Shepp, Denis DiBlasio, Bob Mintzer, Chris Vadala, Emie Watts, Clark Terry and Billy Taylor.
